Should You Buy All Same Brand Components When Designing Your vehicle Sound system?
Every car audio and video enthusiast wants to be able to show their own sound system creation with pride, so making certain all the components selected make the perfect match with each other, is one of the most important things when planning a system design. It is a well know fact that as reputable an automobile audio manufacturers can be, they’re almost never capable of producing an all inclusive top quality set of audio components, that makes it so you more often than not wind up required to buy different brand components for the system.
I personally am an excellent fan of Alpine receivers, but they do an excellent job at breaking ground in new technologies or improve on existing ones, but when I had been to design a brand new audio system for my car, I might not go with Alpine speaker. In my opinion that there’s quite a few other companies available that produce excellent lines of speakers which nicely complement the refined sound that alpine is known for.
To me, the key element when selecting components is to not vary too much in the amount of brands used, which is something that can be easily achieved by grouping all the like components into one logo and end up getting Three or four different brands of components altogether in the final design.
To achieve this, after having chosen a receiver you’re happy with, I would continue selecting the speakers, all the same brand. This can not just lessen the quantity of brands implemented in the system, but will even ensure that the quality of the sound in the car will be uniform. The next step should be to find out if the speaker manufacturer also creates a top quality subwoofer. If they do, this helps to lessen the amount of brands. The next task would be choosing the amp. If you’re lucky, you will probably find that the same company produces the desired quality in amp design. If they don’t, a minimum of you tried.
My belief would be that the fewer the chances for component mismatch the greater the probabilities that you’ll end up getting exceptional sound that you simply envisioned when starting the important audio system upgrade for the vehicle. Good luck and enjoy the process.
